Burton Regatta 2024
The traditional and highly competitive "Oxford v Cambridge" two abreast type boat racing runs throughout the two day event, with competitors and supporters enjoying the beautiful River Trent running through Burton upon Trent's unspoilt Regatta Meadows. The traditional and highly competitive "Oxford v Cambridge" two abreast type boat racing runs throughout the two day event, with competitors and supporters enjoying the beautiful River Trent running through Burton upon Trent's unspoilt Regatta Meadows.
Saturday offers a course length of 1,100 metres racing from the Leicester Line railway bridge to a point some 80 metres upstream of the Ferry footbridge.
Crews return to Burton Sprint the following day, an exciting short distance event racing over 700 metres. The Sprint is held on the finishing straight of the Burton Regatta course, with crews racing past the Regatta Enclosure to the cheers of their supporters.

Burton Regatta is held on the Regatta Meadows in Burton on Trent.
On site facilities available include:
- Food and refreshments are available from a range of local stands.
- The main marquee includes a beer/refreshment tent.
- Children's Entertainment.
- Car Parking (£3 per day, includes Regatta Programme)
