As a not-for-profit festival, Fuse has been a proud initiative of Lichfield Arts since its inception in 2001. What began as a dream to provide free, live music and activities for all has blossomed into a beloved summer tradition that unites our community.
Operated primarily by volunteers, Fuse stands as a remarkable achievement for our small local charity. As part of the diverse events offered by Lichfield Arts throughout the year, Fuse has evolved into one of the largest free community events in Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
Despite the challenges of organising a large-scale, free community event, Lichfield Arts is thrilled to present another exciting lineup of artists and activities this year. Our dedicated team of volunteers continues to invest countless unpaid hours to bring you a weekend filled with live music and arts experiences.
We take pride in keeping Fuse free for everyone – a testament to the commitment of our volunteers. Amidst the logistical hurdles, we eagerly anticipate offering you a diverse selection of performances and activities.
At the core of Fuse Festival is our belief that everyone deserves access to high-quality, impactful, and inclusive arts, regardless of background, postcode, age, or ability. Our focus on access, inclusion, and sustainability drives us to create engaging experiences that inspire, challenge perspectives, and foster social connections within our local community. Fuse remains dedicated to supporting and nurturing both established and emerging national and local talent. Join us for a weekend of celebration, creativity, and community at Fuse – where the arts come alive for everyone.
